The day was jam packed with lovely merriment. Jon and I had to be at the temple on that Friday morning by 9:00. Our guests arrived at 9:30 and we were sealed at 10. It was by far the best part of our whole day. The ceremony was so wonderful and very special. :)
After the ceremony we had pictures for a couple hours and then we had a luncheon at the yummy Bluebird restaurant here in Logan. I was looking so forward to the chicken cordon bleu but by the time we got to the luncheon I felt so sick to my stomach. I don't want to get into tmi, but lets just say Jon and I were only at the luncheon for about a half an hour because my stomach could not handle it.
It was such a bummer having to leave the luncheon early, but luckily my stomach was able to settle a little bit before the reception.
Right around 4 Jon and I left for Pleasant View (our reception was held there at the beautiful Lomond View Gardens). My mom had some ladies from her ward come and help decorate the reception center and it turned out so great!!!!!! It was so beautiful and it was everything I pictured. I'll post some pictures later on when we get them back :)
The reception was really great. We took pictures for an hour and then Jon's parents, my parents, Jon, and I stood in line and greeted and thanked everyone that came. After that we cut the cake, danced (our song was Lovely Tonight, by Joshua Radin...check it out!), and then threw the bouquet and garder. And that was the end of the reception! I can't believe that it is all over!
But after all of the wedding day plans, Jon and I stayed in SLC for the first night and then for the rest of our honeymoon we went to Park City. That is such a beautiful town and the leaves were so pretty...gotta love those fall colors! Sadly enough though, we did not really get the honeymoon that we wanted. I was sick a little bit at first, then Jon got really sick, and then we both were just weak and getting over our sicknesses by the end of it! It was still nice to just get away though and to be with Jon. I sure do love him.
Can you believe that it has already almost been a month?
