First Day in the Dorms :]

I couldn't sleep at all last night. I was so nervous about today (orientation and moving in) plus the bed wasn't very comfortable. But finally my alarm clock went off and I was off to Weber.
Orientation was pretty good. But I was just ready to see my room and meet my roommates.
The University Village is such a nice place! I was expecting a bigger room but surprisingly everything I brought with me fit in just perfectly! My roommates are great. We attempted to go out and a have a fun night...and it was fun but I think we were more on the attempt to find some cute guys...haha now that didn't really work. That's okay though we have awhile to find the attractive guys. We bowled though...for free! That was a plus!

One bummer about the dorms...no facebook!

It still hasn't hit me that I am actually here. I am in college and now living in the dorms. It's crazy...I just feel like I am on vacation. But that will probably last up until Monday when school starts. I am so nervous about my classes. Me, Chemistry, and Math really just don't click well together it seems. I'll probably have a tutor for all of my classes. :] But hey that's okay! At least they would hopefully help me!

Utah!

So I've been a slacker..but what can I say? I was on a roadtrip traveling across the world - okay well maybe not the world but Florida to Utah...that is quite a ways! :)

Now I've been in Utah for a week! We've just been spending time with family, getting everything for school taken care of, and having fun! Last weekend was my cousins wedding, then that same weekend we all went up to my grandparents cabin for a night and went fishing and fourwheeling. It was a blast! It is beautiful up there in the mountains. As much as I don't like fishing, I had a good time and actually caught a fish!

Yesterday my mom, grandma, and I went up to Logan to pick up the rest of my stuff (everything that wouldn't fit in my car). Since we lived up in the valley so much has changed. I love that town...it's the perfect size and it's beautiful!

Today we dropped off my mom and Jer at the airport and we said our goodbyes. It's so crazy how fast time flies by. I am going to miss them.

TWO WEEKS!!! AHH! :)

Me and Jer at the Youth Conference Dance!

Wow.
Two weeks from today my mom and I will be on the road to good old Utah! :) I can't wait! And I find out who my roommates are in the next two weeks! (Kind of nervous about that!)
For all of my breaks at the Farm, I read magazines that others bring in. And this past week I read a health one. I think I need to read those every week, because now I just want to get into shape and eat good healthy food. Haha. I really don't want to fall into those that actually experience gaining the "Freshmen 15."
Youth Conference was today, it was really good, but being 18 and about to leave for college, I felt really old. It was weird, I thought that I would always love those activities and the dances - but I was so so wrong!

Summer Life of a Goldfish Packer.

Although waking up before the sun rises 5-6 times a week to pack the wonderful cheese crackers is very tiring and long, I have to admit that I am somewhat enjoying the strange experience. The people I have met are very interesting and I have made a few good friends. Time definitely goes by faster at the Farm with interesting people and friends to talk to.
Besides working all the time, I am just getting ready to go out to Utah and hanging out with friends and family. I am so excited to be at Weber State. A little nervous too, but it'll be great.
