Rollerskating :)

A few weeks ago Jon took me out on a group date and we went rollerskating! :) It was so much fun! Here's a few pictures...

oh yum!

this friday i am moving to a different apartment for the summer so this week i have been trying to eat a lot of the food i have in my fridge/freezer/cupboard. i forgot about a lot of the things i had in my freezer and was surprised to find sirloin steak and frozen rolls. and with those two things i made...

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak
(so easy and so good!)

Ingredients:
2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 2 inch strips
garlic powder to taste
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cube beef bouillon
1/4 cup hot water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 large green bell peppers, roughly chopped
1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, with liquid
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
1. Sprinkle strips of sirloin with garlic powder to taste. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil and brown the seasoned beef strips. Transfer to a slow cooker.
2. Mix bouillon cube with hot water until dissolved, then mix in cornstarch until dissolved. Pour into the slow cooker with meat. Stir in onion, green peppers, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, sugar, and salt.
3. Cover, and cook on High for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low for 6 to 8 hours.

Sticky Buns
(delicious treat for dessert or for breakfast! try it out!)

Ingredients:
24 count frozen yeast rolls
1 c. brown sugar
4 oz. Butterscotch (cook and serve pudding)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans
1 stick butter

Directions:
1. The night before spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray
2. Sprinkle pecans in bottom of pan and then place the frozen bread dough on top of the pecans
3. Sprinkle with the pudding packet, cinnamon, and brown sugar
4. Melt butter and pour over rolls
5. Cover with cloth and let it sit over night to rise
6. Cook at 350 for 30 min.
