oh how i have missed this...

living in florida thunderstorms and lightening were a very familiar thing.
i grew a very strong love/hate relationship with storms and the rain.
living in utah thunderstorms and lightening seem to be so rare.
i never thought that i would say this...but i miss the storms we had in florida.
right now i have a very bad relationship with rain here in utah...
it rains for a couple hours, then the temperature drops a little bit...
and then that rain turns into the unwanted snow.
some days i wonder why i chose to live in logan, utah of all places.
logan, utah weather=9 months of winter and 3 months of spring/summer/fall.
i would have to say that those 3 months make it worth it though.
logan in the summer is perfect and wonderful,
i am so excited for those months to get here! :)

one in a million

i just love spending time with jon, so so much!
this past week hasn't been the funnest for us because we have both been sick!
but last friday night we went to the fun park and played in the little arcade they have. i love arcades, it's fun to watch the little kids get so excited about what prizes they could get with the tickets they have won.
haha i guess you could say jon and i were like those little kids ;) there were just so many possibilities of what we could get with our tickets! we ended up leaving with 2 silly bands, 2 (really cool) glow in the dark wrist tattoos, and 4 fruities...we used our tickets wisely! ;)
after we went to the arcade we went to walmart and got some cheesecake (probably one of our favorite desserts, you should try it out! they're only about $2 and you get 2 slices of heaven in turtle, chocolate, strawberry, or plain (yum!)) and then we went back to his place and topped the cheesecake off with some yummy strawberries! after cheesecake we applied our tattoos, played games with some of his roommates, drank some very interesting brazilian drink (i think it's called yerba mate), and watched a couple episodes of the office.
i love nights like those!
the rest of the weekend was just as great as friday!
we celebrated jeremy's birthday at tucano's on saturday, had a yummy sunday breakfast (thanks to cutie pie jon), watched angels in the outfield, went to church, and just relaxed the rest of the weekend. :)
it doesn't matter what jon and i do,
we always seem to have such a great time together!

to my little brother...

I have the best little brother out there. Sure he teases me all the time and he can be a little stubborn. But he is so smart, funny, and kind. He is such a stud! (he's single ladies!) ;) And today he's turning 18!

good summer reads...

I hardly ever read any kind of books (besides the book of mormon). Right now I am attempting (slowly) to read The Notebook. It is a great book and I am actually about halfway through, but it is taking me forever!
I really wish I had the time and dedication to read books, and I think I am going to focus on doing just that this summer! I have a little list of choices and hopefully I will get to the majority of these books...

my good buy this week...
a super cute jewelry holder from wonderful T.J.Maxx.
i had all of my necklaces hanging from wall hooks before and that worked pretty well but this little rack is so stinkin cute i had to get it, and it matches my room perfectly...yay!

i'm not sure if this was a good buy or a bad buy on his part but jon bought me a disneyLAND shirt when he went to california for spring break...


we always argue (playfully of course) about which is better walt disneyWORLD or disneyLAND. of course living in florida for most of my life i am going to say that disneyworld definitely has my heart and always will. (and i have never been to disneyland, but come on what sounds better and in all reality is better...WORLD or land? haha)
of course disneyland has his heart because he's never been to disneyworld, this shirt was probably a good buy coming from him, but if he thought that the shirt would sway my mind into liking disneyland more he is so mistaken! ;)
